The first round of 2021 Tissot UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup, in which Belarusian riders took an active part, despite the unfavorable epidemiological situation in the world and won more than one award, ended in Hong Kong on May, 17.

The Union Européenne de Cyclisme Congress, held virtually 6th of March with official delegates from 50 affiliated Federations, elected the Italian Enrico Della Casa as President for the four-year period 2021-2025 and also members of the UEC Management Board were also elected: Katarina Jakubova (Svk), Natallia Tsylinskaya (Blr), Alexander Gusyatnikov (Rus), Henrik Jess Jensen (Den), Dragomir Kouzov (Bul) and Delmino Albano Magalhães Pereira (Por).

The 2020 UEC European Track Championships ended in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) last Sunday. The athletes of the Belarusian national team showed quite high results at these competitions, despite lack of races for a long period of time this season.

Union Européenne de Cyclisme (UEC) delegation arrived in Minsk to discuss the holding of the first UEC championship, which will be held in 2021. This event will be the first of its kind. On January 17, representatives of the European Cycling Union (UEC) visited the Belarusian capital to study technical and organizational details, hold meetings at the highest level, and finalize agreements on a high-profile sporting event holding.

“Yes, we are really discussing with the UEC (Union Européenne de Cyclisme) the possibility of holding in Belarus a cycling festival, which has no analogues not only in European, but also in the world history of cycling."
